Hey, I’m Chris Escobar.

Filmmaker. Photographer. Social Strategist. Storyteller.

Intro

I'm a Southern California-based creative with a passion for visuals that connect and content that converts. From music videos and major networks to social strategy and wedding films, I’ve spent over a decade behind the camera — not just capturing moments, but building movements.

My Story

I got my start in entertainment as a dancer — illusion-style, inspired by Michael Jackson — performing around the world between 2007 and 2010. That love for performance led me behind the lens, where I picked up my first DSLR and never looked back.

  • 🎥 Shot music videos for artists like Mac Miller, OT Genasis, YG Push, and Morgan Page

  • 📺 Worked on projects with Cartoon Network, AMC, and Spike TV

  • 💍 Founded my wedding film company in 2016 — creating timeless, cinematic love stories

  • 📱 Helped grow Moxi Roller Skates from 5K to 100K+ followers

  • 🚀 Supported Smokin’ & Grillin’ wit AB’s growth from 1M to 1.5M on social

  • 👓 Created internal training video for EssilorLuxottica + Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses

What I Bring to Every Project

Whether I’m crafting a 60-second social reel or leading a multi-day shoot, I bring:

  • Strategic vision

  • Cinematic execution

  • A bilingual, multicultural perspective (🇸🇻🇺🇸)

  • A deep understanding of what makes content actually work online

The coffee table is covered with multiple pairs of sunglasses, a beverage can, and books. The setting is cozy with artistic decor.

Stuff That Doesn’t Fit in a Resume

  • I once moonwalked on live TV — shoutout to my dancing roots

  • My first camera was a Canon T2i

  • I edit with coffee, but brainstorm with beer

  • I'm fluent in both Spanish and sarcasm

  • Wrangler (my dog) is my creative assistant and trail guide

  • I can quote every line from Back to the Future

  • If it has wheels, sound design, or a lens — I’m into it

  • I believe good content should be felt, not just seen

If you’re ready to build something bold — I’m in.
